Foundations of Leadership is a new dynamic leadership development program designed for professionals across various industries who are ready to step into leadership roles or enhance their existing skills. Through interactive workshops, expert-led discussions, and real-world applications, participants will gain essential leadership competencies, including effective communication, team management, and strategic thinking. This cohort-based program fosters collaboration and networking among professionals from diverse backgrounds, providing a supportive environment for growth. Our curriculum includes presentations by high-performing, experienced IT managers, peer discussions, and focuses on the following key areas of leadership development.
The below dates are for the Fall 2025 sessions, from August 14th – November 20th.
August 14th: 1 – 4:30 p.m.
With a kick-off mixer from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
August 28th: 1 – 5 p.m.
September 10th: 1 – 5 p.m.
September 25th: 1 – 5 p.m.
October 9th: 1 – 5 p.m.
October 23rd: 1 – 5 p.m.
November 6th: 1 – 5 p.m.
November 20th: 12 – 5 p.m.
Registration and approval from your organization is required to participate. The class is limited to 30 participants to allow for increased engagement with instructors and individual attention. The registration deadline is August 14th, 2025. Participation: Class size is limited. A Selection Committee chooses participants based on the applicant’s leadership potential, motivation, ability to identify and meet IT challenges and interest in the program. AIM membership is NOT required to apply. However, AIM membership is required to be a member of the Elevate Academy. If selected for the class and your organization is not a member of AIM, the membership team will make contact and a membership agreement, with fees, is required prior to orientation. Participants will not be permitted to begin the program without a current AIM membership.
In order for participants to receive a full refund, they must withdraw before the first class, Agust 14th, 2025. Transfer of a registration to a co-worker is allowed. If withdrawal occurs after this date, participants will be obligated to AIM to pay the full tuition amount. Refunds will be generated within 30 business days of receipt of notice of withdrawal. All notices of withdrawal must be submitted via email to: elevate@aiminstitute.org.
