The Omaha chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP), in partnership with AIM, provides academic scholarships to deserving students who are either planning on attending or continuing to attend a college, university, community college, or technical school in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, North Dakota, or South Dakota, with the goal of achieving an associateâ€™s or bachelorâ€™s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. All students pursuing an associateâ€™s or bachelorâ€™s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field are invited to apply. AITP Omaha or Lincoln chapter professional members and their spouses or children, and students who have actively participated in an AIM youth program, are encouraged to apply. Students are eligible for a maximum of two scholarship awards, and no more than one award per academic year.
The Peter Kiewit Institute offers over two hundred scholarships which are available to students pursuing degrees offered at the Institute. The academic scholarships vary in terms of requirements, field of study and financial need. The scholarships cover a full range of costs from full tuition and expenses to partial coverage by semester.
MCC awards hundreds of scholarships to students of all ages every year, both in specific academic program areas and for general education.
IWCC has many scholarship opportunities available for new and continuing students. Each year, the Iowa Western Foundation awards over 400 scholarships totaling over $375,000.
