Mystery Code Society: Intro to JavaScript

Have you wanted to learn to code but didn't know how to start? Or maybe you've taken the coding classes your school has to offer, but you're excited to learn a new coding language? Do you like problem-solving and games?

In Mystery Code Society’s Intro to JavaScript course, students will learn fundamentals of code in JavaScript including:
-data types and variable assignments
-loops
-conditionals
-functions
-callbacks and asynchronous functions

And they will build their own game in p5.js!

This fall, Mystery Code Society is offering Intro to JavaScript at Do Space for middle and high school students of marginalized genders. Participants do NOT need prior coding experience OR a computer of their own to take this class.
