As a software QA intern, you will analyze, test and participate in the quality assurance process to support software application releases. You will work closely with developers and project managers on Gallup’s client-facing platforms and marketing sites to create detailed test plans and documentation to ensure that our systems and new features perform as expected, create a positive user experience and meet our standards of excellence. In this role, you will gain exposure to the entire software development life cycle and Agile methodology — and work with sites and systems that touch millions of people every year. Whether you’re diagnosing, communicating, documenting or fixing errors in software programs, at Gallup, you’re more than just an intern. What you need:

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer in Omaha, Nebraska; hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules
  • Current enrollment in an associate, undergraduate or graduate school program; anticipated 2024 graduation date preferred
  • Degree program in computer science, MIS, engineering, math or a related field
  • Must attend a college or university within a 200-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska
  • Classroom or work experience with software quality assurance methodologies
  • A basic understanding of software development and agile testing beneficial
  • Eligibility to work in the United States requires; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
