Gallup is accepting applications for SUMMER 2023 internships
As a data science intern at Gallup, you will apply your knowledge of statistics, math, and machine learning with an emphasis on nonparametric and nonlinear methods (e.g., random forests, support vector machines, neural networks) to a wide variety of challenging problems. In addition to hands-on experience with real projects, you’ll have endless opportunities to learn and grow as you work with the latest technology and partner with some of the world’s most tenured mentors and engaged coworkers. What you need:
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer in Omaha, Nebraska; hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules
- Current enrollment in an associate, undergraduate or graduate school program and working toward a degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, math or a related field; anticipated 2024 graduation date preferred
- Classroom or work experience coding in a data science environment: R, Python (e.g., Pandas, Tensorflow, Keras, Matplotlib)
- Aptitude in programmatic statistical analysis and design
- Eligibility to work in the United States
