SWIFTT | Foundations of Data Management

An offering by AIM Institute

Southwest Iowa Free Technical Training (SWIFTT) provides accelerated training for Iowans interested in a career in technology.

The program typically costs $1,500 but has been generously funded by the Charles E. Lakin Foundation, meaning that participants can register at no cost to themselves.

Expressing data is key to implementation, scale, and corporate buy-in. This class teaches the fundamentals of building and expressing data visually so non-technical users can make decisions from the data. Whether it be machine learning, web scrapers, applications, or computational modeling, a data scientist has to know how to think programmatically as well as write code to connect disparate systems.

Taught by instructors from AIM Institute, this class meets Monday and Wednesday's from 5:30 PM to 9:30PM Online via Google Meets.
