Science, Engineering, and Teamwork (Young future investors 7-16 y.o)

Have fun, play, interact and learn about physics and the energy of the future, build and race solar powered fuel cell model cars. Learn to build solar concentrators - heat water and power a Stirling Engine, design, build and race mouse trap cars and programmable robots. Compete in teams for great prizes.

Youth 7-11 will learn to design mouse trap based ears based on mechanical advantage, will build functional lego- like machines and electric circuits. We ask that parents accompany this age group.

Youth 12-16 will learn uses of solar energy, will build and race solar fuel cell powered model cars, will build large functioning household solar concentrators, will build programmable robots, and will imagine a business.

Program dates: Saturday, July 23, 3, August 6, 13, September 10, 17, 24, October 8, 2-6 pm.
