Southwest Iowa Free Technical Training (SWIFTT) provides accelerated training for Iowans interested in a career in technology. The program is fully funded by the Charles E. Lakin Foundation, meaning that participants can register at no cost to themselves.
Taught by instructors from AIM Institute, this class meets every Monday thru Sunday from 5:00PM to 9:00AM at the Council Bluffs Public Library or online. Here, participants will:
>> Explore careers in technology
>> Identify educational pathways needed to achieve these careers
>> Learn basic skills in the everyday use of technology
>> Learn the basic concepts of web development.
