Using Nebraska’s only Science on a Sphere exhibit, this natural science course reviews Earth processes that impact humanity, with natural disasters as the focus. Topics include the causes and effects of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, etc. The course covers basic concepts of physical geology using hands-on-activities, small-group discussions, and in-class demonstrations.
