I am Dave Coover and I serve as AIM Institute’s Director of Training.  I am proud to serve as the director of AIM’s Regional Cisco Networking Academy, as well the technical liaison to UNL’s MCSL Service Learning Grant, Infotec Steering Committee member and Gallup Technology Seminar Series.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1987) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry.  I also hold a Master of Science in Educational Administration (1994) from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and am certified as a Secondary Science Teacher and Secondary Principal.  Prior to working at AIM Institute, I worked for the Omaha Public Schools and served in roles as a Classroom Teacher, Department Chairman, Technology Coordinator, Network Administrator, and Student Recruitment Director.

I am retired from the Nebraska Air National Guard after 23 years of service, flying the RF-4C Phantom and the KC-135R refueling tanker.  I have continued my flying career  as a volunteer pilot in the Omaha Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron.

I remain active in a variety of community and church activities and enjoy refereeing soccer, as well as boating, skiing, wakeboarding, golf, and staying current in the latest technology developments.  I am married and the proud father of two children, Will and Jenny.
