AIM Achieve IT! Scholarship

The AIM Achieve IT! scholarship encourages youth to stay in the area and choose Information Technology as a program of study. The scholarship award amount is $4,000 and the funds are distributed over four (4) years in equal installments of $1,000/year. Award winners will attend an area college full time and will enroll in an IT-related program of study. The scholarship will be awarded to current high school seniors. The first AIM Achieve IT! scholarships will be announced in April 2013 to use for college-related expenses in the fall. To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements:

• Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 by the end of the 1st semester of the senior year
• Plan to pursue a degree in Information Technology
• Plan to enroll in a college or university located within the AIM service area

Scholarship applications are now open. The application deadline is March 29, 2013.

We Ask for Your Support
Direct support of the scholarship is needed to fulfill AIM’s core mission, building a strong IT workforce. Companies and individuals alike are asked to help the next generation of IT professionals achieve their dreams. Sponsor one AIM Achieve IT! scholarship for $4,000 or donate a portion of this amount. Your generous contribution will enable a youth in our community to go to college and earn a degree in IT.
